Okay, I'll say it. I'm not ready for Brat Summer to end. Am I ready for the temperature to drop? Of course. However, I've got a tight grip on all shades of green for the time being. The three main influences for my affection towards the hue are undoubtedly attributed to Charlie XCX, Wicked the Musical the Movie, and a nice cold dirty martini garnished with 3 olives. Whether it's olive, chartreuse, emerald, hunter, kelly, or jade I will be making everyone envious of how I'm styling green pieces this season.
Green symbolizes so many positives concepts. To name a few: wealth, health, balance, stability, fertility, and nature. It's a color that can symbolize the changing of seasons either in the Spring or the Fall, depending on the shade. I recently saw a video explaining that there were more shades of green in a box of crayons than any other color. The possibilities are endless with shades of green, and taking every opportunity to style the color this season.
For me, there are so many ways to style shades of green. I'd either opt to style it with black or shades of brown. For a more funky vibe, I'm ready to style a green sweater or top with leopard pants.
So whether you're bumpin' that chartreuse in the club, throwing back a dirty olive brine martini at dinner with the girls, or warming up your vocal chords to defy gravity at karaoke make sure you've got the perfect green hue that will turn heads towards you.
xoxo,
Brooke
